Sustainable houses, an efficient and innovative construction model.

Energetically Efficient and Environmentally Friendly

Sustainability concepts applied to construction enable energy saving and also reduce CO2 emissions. In this way, the building’s energy efficiency is enhanced.

Sustainability proposals in Architecture

Passive Features

A reasonable project design contemplating orientation, solar protection systems, passive solar building design (heat during Winter), insulation, and building inertia to minimize energy demand.

Include air chamber, rock wool insulation, and a steam barrier. The interior wall includes a second coat of rock wool insulation.

Apartment distribution that guarantees each living room in every house receives al least one hour of direct sunlight between 10 and 14h during the Winter.

Include thermal bridge breakage and low emissive glasses to avoid energy loss through sills and glass panes. The apartments include large windows to ensure natural lighting.

Crossed North-South.

Inverted (Cold) Roof System to avoid energy loss.

Garden Zone

Garden containing deciduous trees..

Active Features

Are those designed to reduce energy and resource consumption by means of efficient systems such as the use of renewable energy sources and resource optimization. Energy Supply. Hourly discrimination electricity rate system. The kW cost is approximately reduced by half. Individual electric car outlets are included.

ACS Production

Aerothermal heat pump. Individual system for each house that includes a 200-liter accumulator. Low energy consumption during Winter and almost zero consumption during Summer, thereby reducing CO2 emissions.

Suministro Eléctrico

Sistema de discriminación horaria. El coste del Kw es aproximadamente la mitad. Dispositivos individuales de carga para vehículos eléctricos.

Air Conditioning

Aerothermal air-water heat pump. Individual system for each house. Low energy consumption which translates into a considerable reduction of CO2 emissions.

Pre-installation that will enable each user to set the control systems that result more adequate for him/her.

Renewal of Indoor Air

Independent system that includes three options of exhaust ventilation.

Environmentally Friendly

Built-up area within lot.

Minimum, keeping green areas unpaved, with the exemption of underground plant areas or zones where pavement is essential. This enhances drainage and reduces water gathering.

Water Consumption Reduction

Dual discharge cisterns. Faucet aerators and a rainwater collection system for irrigation.

Residual Management

On-site residual management. Residual waters flowing in a separate system design, community facility for selective collection of domestic residues.

Local, Natural, Recycled, Low Environmental Impact Materials

Quality and Comfort

Quality house design intended to satisfy today’s family needs, with the requirement to offer a healthy environment for its users.

Low Environmental Impact Materials

We avoid using harmful materials and favor the use of certified materials.

  • Façade Insulation: Includes double rock wool insulation instead of extruded polystyrene
  • Plastic Paint: Ecologic and free of volatile organic compounds.

Local and Natural Materials

We avoid using imported materials, if possible, to avoid long-distance transportation. We favor the use of materials such as stoneware, wood, stone, etc.

Recycled Materials

Use of Recycled Materials.

Maintenance cost optimization in each house and in the rest of the building.

For this reason, a number of actions have been taken into account in the design of this project: to unify installation systems, to use Mediterranean native plants in terraces and common areas, and to eliminate common areas that require maintenance.
